The previous website had a number of problems, the primary of which was an outdated version of Magento ecommerce that was end of life. We rebuilt the entire website utilizing a headless version of Wordpress for a CMS and blog, and the Ruby on Rails Solidus for an ecommerce backend, with a fully customized product customization and checkout process, and heavy Salesforce integrations.

One of the big drivers that pushed Kapco for the need for a new website was their switch to a new ERP system, Epicor, which we fully integrated multi directional sync with for customers, orders, products, etc. This turned into an extremely robust system with lots of complex payment and shipping rules and customer group features, but they now have a massively improved user experience for their customers.

For Allegheny County Bar Association, we managed a focus group of member attorneys from the greater Pittsburgh region and incorporated their feedback into an improved user experience, a more modern design, and some new features to help members get more out of their membership. This required a large integration with their membership system. On top of all of that, we’re also seeing a nearly 67% reduction in page load time!

Brooklyn Photo Studios

To help save this startup some money we utilized a premade theme as a starting point for the visuals, so that they could focus the majority of their budget onto the custom functionality required to make their business run. We built a booking system that allows customers to book a room and set for photography use. The website generates door lock codes on the fly and then texts them to the customer when the booking is finished, so that they have a unique code that works during their booking, so that they can get in and out of the building and room without the need for any interaction from staff.

Tri-Star Skateboards

Tri-Star is a 100% skater owned and operated skateboard shop and an indoor skateboard park that has been serving the Cleveland market since 2004. The existing website was tied in with their POS system and there were too many issues and restrictions with that setup that prevented them from improving sales the way they wanted. For this we did a fresh new design to flow with their unassuming "we're pretty okay" tagline and a custom developed Woocommerce solution that tied in with Square's POS to keep all inventory and order in sync between the two systems.
